Contact usWill the wash scratch my paint?
Not the way we do it. We start with a contactless rinse to loosen and remove dirt, then wash using the two-bucket method with clean microfiber towels and premium Hyperclean soap. This prevents dirt from being dragged across your paint. We take paint safety seriously because scratches and swirl marks are completely avoidable with the right process.
Can you fix scratches in my paint?
Light scratches, swirl marks, and water spots come out with our exterior detail and polish. Deeper scratches that catch your fingernail when you run your hand over them need paint correction, which is a separate and more involved service. We will assess your paint in person and let you know exactly what it needs before any work starts.
How long does an exterior detail take?
A standard exterior detail takes about 2 hours for a sedan or coupe. Larger vehicles like SUVs and trucks take closer to 3 hours. If your car has heavy contamination, sap, or overspray that needs extra attention, we will let you know it may take a bit longer before we start so you can plan around it.
Does the exterior detail include paint correction?
Light swirl marks and minor surface scratches come out with our standard polish during the exterior detail. Full paint correction for deeper scratches, heavy oxidation, or faded paint is a separate service. We will check your paint condition before we start and tell you if correction is recommended.
How do I know which package is right?
Every car is different so we help you figure it out. When you book, tell us the make and model, how dirty it is, and what bothers you most about it. We will give you an honest recommendation for the package that makes the most sense. We will never upsell you on something your car does not actually need.
Are you insured and what happens if my car is damaged?
Yes, Wailes Detail is a fully licensed and insured business registered in Washington State. We carry liability coverage for your protection and ours. In the rare event that something happens to your vehicle during our service, we take full responsibility and will work with you to make it right immediately. No runaround.
How do I book an appointment?
